Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty are ‘totally different’
Developer rejects the comparison, nevertheless they’re not “straying from their own individual ideas”. Some commentators have declared Battlefield 3‘s campaign is nearer to what we’re expecting from Modern Warfare 3.
We here at IncGamers are involved in that bunch, going so far as to say that Battlefield 3′s single player is aimed at capturing the Call of Duty audience by presenting a similar atmosphere inside campaign mode and asking whether that was the right tactic for DICE to engage.

DICE has since responded to such comments, proclaiming that they’re going for something like the upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and that they’re not comprising their own individual “formula”.
“We’re not straying away from the formula,” said Patrick Bach, executive producer on Battlefield 3. “It’s actually a very different feeling we’re going after. We’re not straying away from my own ideas.

“Were looking at much of our stuff, maybe a bit too much at times because sometimes you forget to look into what everyone else is doing. However it adds a lot of pressure when people’s expectations are that maybe our nation do something else, rrnstead of doing what we’re doing.”
Bach’s words were echoed by those of lead game designer David Goldfarb, who insists that DICE are performing their “own thing” understanding that the feeling they demand is “very different” from MW3:
“…for no reason want to always have the meter pegged at 11 when looking at pacing,” said Goldfarb.
Battlefield 3 Now Only $42
Battlefield 3 isn’t even in shops yet and it’s already obtaining discount. Amazon is offering the game at the substantially reduced rate for a smallish time.
If you obtain the digital PC version of BF3 through Amazon, it’ll cost that you’ mere $41.99. That’s 30% underneath you’d have to afford the Xbox 360, PS3, or boxed PC editions in the game. Pretty good bargain considering, again, the game’s not compensate yet.

Amazon started offering digital game downloads classes . early 2009. They face some pretty big competitors because space, like GameStop and Direct2Drive, so that i guess a discount like this is necessary to help them stand out in the pack.
Battlefield 3 will launch in North America on October 25th. You may start downloading the action through Amazon at 10 AM PST (1 PM EST) on that day.
